The Commercial Aviation Management program is the first university program in Canada that combines a business degree with the opportunity for you to earn a Transport Canada Integrated Commercial Pilot's License. Whether you want to manage flight or fly yourself, you've come to the right place if you have a passion for aircraft, airports and travel. You'll learn the ins and outs of the business and operations side of aviation - airline operations and management, airport management, airline economics, aviation safety, human factors and meteorology to name a few!
The flight option of the Commercial Aviation Management (CAM) program is one of the unique features that we are very proud of. With this option, you will complete flight training in state-of-the-art Diamond aircraft at the London International Airport (CYXU) several times a week to complete classroom-based ground school and in-aircraft flight training.
You can complete this program as a Bachelor or an Honours Bachelor degree. Registration in the honours degree usually begins in the second year, but admission may be gained in the third or fourth year provided you meet requirements.
As a student in DAN Management & Organizational studies, you'll also have the opportunity to apply to the DAN Management Internship Program. This program facilitates paid and career-related placements so you can work full-time for 8 to 16 months, following the third year of study. As with a traditional co-op degree, your graduation will be delayed by one year while you acquire marketable skills and work experience. Internship placement opportunities are available in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors - so don't miss out! Click here for more information. |
