The Registered Practical Nursing Bridging to Honours Bachelor of Science - Nursing degree program has been designed with the practicing registered practical nurse in mind. Knowledge gained from an registered practical nurse's education is fully accounted for and augmented with essential refresher courses and university-level courses in the sciences and humanities in the first year.
Many of the first year courses are delivered in a hybrid format, with some learning presented online and some taking place in the college. For the second year of the Bridging program, students enter third year of the Honours Bachelor of Science program and take courses with those students until the end of the program. Flexible delivery options may be available for third year courses. |

Additional Admission Requirements: | Applicants are required to have a Registered Practical Nursing Ontario College diploma from a recognized Ontario College with an overall minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent to 73% with no grade less than a C (63%), and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RPN with no terms, conditions or limitations on their practice. Applicants are also required to have a minimum of one-year full-time work experience as a Registered Practical Nurse or equivalent (minimum 2,000 hours). This program requires a mobile device (laptop or tablet). |
