The MA in Fine Art offers an exciting opportunity for you to expand and deepen your knowledge and experience of a full range of contemporary fine art disciplines. The course is housed in our new purpose built studios in the centre of Cheltenham, and orientates its working ethos around the central debates of contemporary visual art, and its broad and varied related fields. The programme provides stimulating studio and theory studies to meet the needs of graduates wishing to develop their studio practice in a critical and supportive academic environment. Lectures, seminars and group criticisms provide a forum linking practice, critique and theory. The programme provides you with a framework within which you will be encouraged to specialise, and through personal investigation to develop a substantial body of work. You will be expected to do so with critical reflection and to locate your work within the contemporary environment of ideas. |
