This course is delivered by the Department of Strategy & Organisation which has a long history of exciting innovative research and teaching covering the practices and processes of managing. Studying management will help you understand theory and develop the skills to put it into practice. You'll be challenged to engage with established traditions and new ideas as you meet leading academics and industry leaders.
Management is sometimes defined as the achievement of results with, and through, others. Organisations in the public, private, charitable and voluntary sectors are all managed and the goods and services they provide are used by all of us in our daily lives.
