Description:

Get your UBC degree in statistics. The science of understanding and managing uncertainty is ultimately concerned with using theory and methods to extract information from data to make informed decisions about real-world problems. This program provides you with a solid understanding in theoretical, computational, and applied aspects of statistical science.

Modern statistics deals with all forms of information, including numeric, categorical, and/or textual. Statisticians use mathematical and computational tools to make sense of data, an essential skill in all fields of science, industry, and government.
