Developed in conjunction with a leading global financial trading company, the MSc Trading and Risk interlinks theoretical aspects of trading in global markets with practical experience of trading in the realistic simulated environment of our trading floor. The objective is to prepare students for a career as a high-earning professional trader.

Students will need an interest in financial markets, together with the determination to succeed in the demanding environment of financial trading. The MSc Trading and Risk will develop expertise in accessing and analysing data using Thomson Reuters Eikon financial database. Plus, you will have the option to complete a three month internship at an OSTC trading floor.

Application Notes : The course welcomes international applicants and requires an English language level of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (with at least 5.5 in each component).
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Applicants are required to have an undergraduate finance, accounting or audit degree from a UK university, class 2:2 Honours or higher. Alternatively, an undergraduate business degree from a UK university with an appropriate level of financial content, class 2:2 Honours or higher. Equivalent accredited international or professional qualifications are acceptable. For applicants who do not possess formal qualifications, relevant professional experience may be taken into account via the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL)/Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) mechanism (University regulations will apply).
