With safety, health and environmental issues becoming increasingly important, there is a growing demand for professionals with the right skills. The MSc Safety, Health and Environmental Management degree produces such health and safety practitioners, who can identify, assess, and solve health, safety, and environmental problems by applying the principles of good management. You will develop your knowledge of technical subject areas through an extension into managing health and safety while giving due consideration to the sustainable economic development of business and the environment.
The course is professionally recognised and accredited by both the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IISRM). These accreditations offer a range of benefits to student members, such as career support and advice, access to a range of workshops, masterclasses, mentoring, CPD and networking opportunities. Graduates can then apply and progress towards the IIRSM fellow status and IOSH graduate status. |
