The course will develop the students' subject knowledge and the necessary pedagogical skills to teach across the whole curriculum as appropriate to children in Key Stages 1 and 2.
Throughout the course, students will work closely with experienced classroom teachers and develop a wide range of skills, knowledge and understanding as they become competent and confident in the classroom. This will be achieved through the study of the relevant subject knowledge and pedagogical issues, the development of effective planning, teaching and assessment strategies and the development of both enthusiasm and professionalism.
