Students with a combined interest in medical sciences and business will find career opportunities through CDI College’s Medical Office Administration diploma program. Students begin with classes in information processing, learning Microsoft Word and Excel programs, keyboarding, and information processing. Technical skills in medical terminology, human anatomy, and medical machine transcription are taught in later phases of the Medical Office Administrator program. All students must complete a mandatory practicum in order to graduate. This practicum allows students to apply their education in real-world scenarios. Students are given strong support from CDI College’s career and employment services. Job search and interviewing, employer expectations and resume preparation is offered in the Medical Office Administration program as well to assist students with finding the right job after graduation. Graduates may find employment in a variety of work environments including private medical practices, clinics, and hospitals. |
