This degree will set students on the path to a career as an architect. Students will combine classroom studies, fieldwork and practical experience to learn about designing buildings, urban systems, public places, transport nodes, and recreation and conservation areas. They will also develop your design and creative problem-solving skills, and learn how to create designs that meet aesthetic, functional and user needs - now and in the future. A focus on sustainable design in tropical and subtropical climates will prepare students for work in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. In the third year, you will complete a supervised industry-based design project. |
