You will develop the knowledge and skills needed to work in public health roles around the world. You will learn how to address major health issues including chronic disease, sexual health, nutrition, HIV/AIDs, physical activity, drugs and alcohol within many populations such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, youth, seniors and in settings such as workplaces, hospital and schools.
In the final year, you will put your academic studies into practice through professional placements in public health organizations. The placements can be in either local or international locations. Visit Placement Essentials for details. This program offers an Honours degree through an additional year of study.
