This degree provides you with the knowledge to work with children in a variety of settings including health, education and social care. It prepares you to work across boundaries while leading, managing and evaluating projects that support children and meet the five key outcomes of the Every Child Matters initiative. You will be able to recognise the health, social and economic factors that impact upon individuals and make a difference to the health and wellbeing of children and young people. A work placement will provide practical experience and enhance your employment opportunities.
