This master's degree is an innovative programme suitable for any degree-level practising nurse who wishes to follow a flexible modular pathway towards a masters degree.

Application Notes : | You must have competence in English language to study with us. The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.5 (with minimum 6.0 in all components). We also normally require Grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification. |
Additional Admission Requirements: | Students admitted to this programme must: have nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council UK; be currently practising as a registered nurse; have an honours degree of 2:2 or above in nursing; ideally, have evidence of employer support – normally in the form of a reference; and have evidence of commitment to study, professional development to date, leadership and management potential, consideration of a coherent study pathway and plans for future professional development and progression. This will be evidenced in the applicant’s personal statement. Exceptionally, students who do not have a degree but who have successfully completed level 7 CPD modules may be admitted to the programme.
Additional admissions criteria: recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available where students can transfer-in up to 120 credits (two thirds of the total number of credits required for the award).
In exceptional circumstances, students who do not have a degree but who have successfully completed Level 7 CPD modules or who can provide evidence of their ability to pursue successfully postgraduate-level study may also be considered.
