This program allows you to combine and balance your interests in mathematics with studies in computing science, and will be of interest to you if you wish to study the mathematical foundations of computing, algorithms, logic, or the application of modern mathematical theory to error-correcting codes and cryptography. This program can only be taken as part of a BSc with Honours degree.
The Bachelor of Science Honors degree provides excellent training in one specific subject. As an Honors student, you will focus on one main field of study and must maintain a higher standard of academic achievement than students in a General or Specialization program. This is the best program if you plan to pursue a higher degree or a research-based or academic career.
