Description:

Social innovation is what enables communities to mobilize their own resources to solve the problems that they face.

Designed both for entry-level students and for professionals wishing to increase one’s knowledge in social innovation, this program provides a strong theoretical foundation and a multitude of practical tools in this ever-changing field.

The program is based on the belief that it is beneficial to strengthen the relationship between theory and practice. It teaches the main analytical frameworks and advanced organizational and collective action techniques.

Prerequisites:

  •  Grade12 English (ENG4U)  or  Grade12 English (EAE4U)  or  Grade12 Français  or  Grade12 French 
Applicants from Ontario are required to have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with at least six 4U or 4M level courses, including one 4U level course in English or français. Applicants from Quebec are required to have a Secondary School Diploma with an average of 84%, including one course in English or français at the Secondary V level. Applicants from the Atlantic and Western provinces are required to have a Secondary School Diploma, including one course in English or français at the Grade 12 level.

To gain admission, you must therefore demonstrate proficiency in one of these languages.
