Hillsdale's classical liberal arts education will equip you with the necessary virtues and skills essential for getting into law school and succeeding in the legal profession. Through our core curriculum, you will learn to read and analyze difficult texts, develop logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, and master the art of writing clearly. Law schools do not want students with a degree in "pre-law studies" and Hillsdale does not offer any preprofessional degrees; instead, law schools are interested in bright, well-rounded, mature, independent, and ethical human beings. You can choose to major in any field while receiving tailored faculty advising designed to help you prepare a strong law school application throughout your undergraduate years. The pre-law program is directed by Dr. Nathan Schlueter. |
