The BCIT Business Management Advanced Placement option is a nine month full-time program designed for individuals that have completed a degree or diploma and want to quickly enter the workforce with a business specialty. Students will learn about all the functional areas of business, while developing entrepreneurial skills to successfully create and launch a product within a new market. This program will also provide students with the necessary leadership skills and motivational techniques to effectively manage an organization. Graduates of the program will be able to utilize accounting tools, analyze business problems, and discover ways to improve overall business profitability and efficiency.

Applicants must have: two years of education in English in an English-speaking country with one of the following: English 12 (67%) or 3.0 credits of post-secondary English, humanities or social sciences from a recognized institution. |
Additional Admission Requirements: | Applicants must have one of the following from a recognized institution: diploma, degree, service in the Canadian Forces (regular or reservist), or be a First Responder (Firefighter, Paramedic, Police). The following three pre-entry courses must be complete prior to starting the program. You must have a mid-term or final grade in one pre-entry course in order to apply: FMGT 1152, ORGB 1105, BUSA 2005. |
