Media production offers exciting career paths, and this well-established course has seen many graduates progress to successful careers in the UK and international media. Media production is influenced by cultural, economic and political factors and you will study these, as well as history of media, as you focus your own ideas and creativity, and acquire the technical skills to realise your ideas – learning to make powerful, effective media products that connect with their target audience.
All students to learn how to make documentaries and dramas, then you can choose to specialise in areas like Moving Image, New Media, Radio or Scriptwriting or to maintain a general view of this broad area, and then to join the final year of a BA (Hons) Media Production. |
