Description:

The BComm is the leading undergraduate business degree in Ireland. The degree offers a comprehensive range of business specialisations, and aims to provide you with transferable skills and knowledge in verbal and interpersonal communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and time management. This course is designed to help you gain the theoretical and practical skills required for the job market. You will learn from experienced staff, have opportunities to interact with businesses and learn in real workplace scenarios.

This four-year degree allows you to build business skills across nine core areas: Business Economics, Food Business & Development, Government, Information Systems, Law, Management, Marketing, Maths and Statistics. In years one and two you will be introduced to each of these areas. In third year you will begin to specialise in your chosen field – selecting from one of the following major Business Economics, Food Business & Development, Government, Law, Management, Marketing. During this year you will also have the opportunity to participate in a paid business internship and you will have the opportunity to partake in our study abroad programme (we offer a full-year abroad programme and a semester abroad programme – places are limited and are based on your results in year 1 and 2). In final year you will continue to specialise in your chosen major thus providing an excellent springboard for a successful career.
