The Sustainable Architectural Technologist Program provides a strong knowledge and skills foundation that enables graduates to enter this diverse industry at an entry-level. This intensive program teaches students the fundamentals of core subjects including: Design, Materials and Documentation, all with a strong focus on environmental protection and sustainability.
With an understanding of the design and documentation process, the student is introduced to critical thinking and solution development as it relates to building systems. As well as learning software key to this industry, and digital drawing, students will also be taught freehand artistry as they develop an understanding of buildings and their integration with the natural surrounds. This is a growing field and offers career opportunities in companies concerned with Architecture and Construction. This Program also includes a workplace Practicum Placement. Program content leads to the production of a professional portfolio. |
