An English-intense base of training in the first two semesters prepare students whose first language is not English to be successful in the program and develop confidence with working in English speaking hospitality work environments around the world. This program incorporates the curriculum from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) and the core curriculum of the BC Provincial Hospitality Management Diploma Program, with an emphasis on improving English language skills required by the International Hospitality Industry. |

- Be at least 17 years of age
- Have graduated from high school or apply as a mature student who did not graduate from high school but is at least 19 years of age
- Provide proof of English proficiency
