Description:

The MPhil in Public Policy provides an interdisciplinary grounding in public policy theory and practice, with courses encompassing everything from economics and statistics through to the politics of policymaking and beyond.

The course is aimed at students who wish to have a leading role in government, companies or NGOs. The blend of theory and practice will help students to understand the mix of hard and soft skills they will need to be effective policy entrepreneurs and students will leave the course having expanded and strengthened their policy analysis and implementation skills.

    Bachelor degree (Honours) or 4 years Bachelor's without Honours or Baccalaureat / Bachelier (first-cycle degrees in Quebec province (3 years) (except McGill University)) or Bachelor degree (Honours) or Bachelor's without Honours (3-4 years with 120 credits) from McGill University or First Professional Degree / Grade Professionnelle (titles include Doctor of Dental Medicine / Surgery, Doctor of Medicine and Juris Doctor) with a grade of 3.3/4, 3.3/4.3, B+, 7/9 (York University)
