The two-year Fitness and Health Promotion Ontario College Diploma program prepares students to perform the roles and responsibilities of fitness and health consultants who plan, promote and deliver a wide variety of services. Students will learn to facilitate activity and educational programs that enhance the health, fitness, and well-being of individuals and groups in diverse settings. In this program, students will gain the knowledge and skills to adopt a fit and healthy lifestyle, and to help others achieve individualized health and lifestyle goals. Field placements in the program provide on-the-job training and allow students to apply knowledge and principles gained in classes to a workplace setting, as well as gain exposure to potential employers and add to overall marketability and employability after graduation.

Program Requirements (for domestic students): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent) with courses from the College (C), University (U), University/College (U/C), or Open (O) preparation levels with Grade 12 English (C/U) Level. or successful completion of the Mature Student Assessment. or successful completion of the General Education Development Test (GED). or appropriate credits from the Academic and Career Entrance program (ACE).
