The Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching (BPEC) prepares students to become physical education teachers, community sport coaches or fitness professionals. The curriculum includes fieldwork placements, leadership courses and labs in anatomy, physiology, exercise physiology and biomechanics. Graduates can apply directly into fifth year at SFU, UBC or other universities to complete a teaching credential. The program also meets admission requirements for the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. |

Applicants are required to have Foundations of Math 11 with a minimum grade of "C", Pre-Calculus 11 with a minimum grade of "C", or approved equivalent; and a minimum GPA of 2.33 for completed courses. |
