The visual arts program at Grenfell allows students to express themselves through various art forms and media. Our instructors support students in their journey to find the materials, processes, and practices that best suit their artistic visions. We will help you to enhance your technical skill, while developing your creative intent. Our program will also introduce you to contemporary art practices and give you the opportunity to work with celebrated national and international artists. |

As part of your general application, students applying for the visual arts, BFA program must prepare a personal statement on why you are choosing visual arts as your area of study and why you would like to study at Grenfell Campus, as well as a summary of your art training and/or experience. If you don't have any formal training or experience, don't worry. Take this time to explore your passion for art and why you are interested in our program.
In addition to their application to Memorial University, applicants must also submit a portfolio of their artwork (images of 15 to 20 artworks or original pieces). |
