At Humber Polytechnic's Media Foundation program, you will develop creative media skills through hands-on learning in our labs and studios. You will design, capture, and edit images with the Adobe Suite; learn about the tools of film making through viewing, capturing video, and editing your own short films; and use our broadcast television simulation studio to experience the production of live content with current technology. In the second semester, you will customize your learning by selecting elective courses that build on your skills, and you will learn how to become a branded, freelance media maker. Throughout the program, our professors will guide you through dynamic creative projects and assignments designed to help you gain the practical skills and confidence you need to make the right choice for your future. To be eligible for admission, you must possess the following:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including these required courses:
- Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U or equivalent)
or
Mature student status

College or university transfer status
