Peer Mentor Program - A peer mentor will act as a guide by introducing life at Humber and post-secondary expectations.
Orientation - Meet staff, faculty, and other students in your program and familiarize yourself with the campus.
Humber has a Career Centre, which supports students and recent graduates. The Career Centre also hosts over ten Employer Networking Events a year for a variety of programs.
Recreational facilities include an indoor pool, three gymnasiums, squash courts, weight room, cardio room, locker rooms, and a sports injury clinic. We offer varsity athletic programs in baseball, volleyball, outdoor soccer, golf, badminton, cross country, and rugby. Intramural clubs are also offered in a wide variety of sports.
Nursing Society, Paramedics Association, Latin Club, The Business Society, Desi Dance Rhythms, The Humber Food Club, Triple Threat Club (drama and performing arts), International Issues Club, Ace of Spades Poker Club, Women's Rugby Club, Financial Investment Club, Advertising and Graphic Design Club, Amnesty International, Human Resource Society, and many more.
Humber has a multilevel library and Learning Resource Centre. Group work and study areas are available for students. Several computer labs are accessible to students and contain both IBM and Macintosh platforms.
Humber's Lakeshore Campus is home to a music concert hall and a drama theatre; students and visiting artists perform various concerts and plays throughout the school year. There is an art gallery attached to the North Campus; art shows are held periodically.
Peer tutoring for a minimum fee per semester, trained student tutors will help you with your courses. Students with learning or physical disabilities can access note takers, readers, test aides, and classroom assistants. Students with children are welcome to use either the Children's Activity Centre or one of our licensed childcare centres.
International students can submit an online application directly to Humber. There are two International Centres located on both North and Lakeshore campuses. The International Centre is equipped with International Student Advisors and student ambassadors who can help provide assistance with admissions, on-boarding, immigration advising, life at Humber and post-grad planning.
