Design the vessels for the world's waterways! Our diploma of technology in naval architecture is your passport to engineering excellence, be it in a shipyard or a boatyard, a consulting firm in the offshore oil industry or wherever your interests lie. We will work with you to develop your analytical, design, drawing and surveying skills through courses ranging from engineering graphics to ship stability and ship production to composite structures. You must meet the Marine Institute's Application and Admission Regulations either immediately upon graduation from high school, following a period of employment subsequent to graduation, or by transfer from another post-secondary institution. If you re a mature student with credits for foundation courses, coupled with practical experience in the ship or boat building industry, you may challenge the first year courses and begin the program in term three. |
