The ultimate goal of the program is to provide students who are interested in law and plan on attending law school with an academically-rigorous and well-rounded understanding of legal concepts and the practice of law. From a springboard of several law content courses offered through the department of political science, students can also sample within the minor from similar law-related courses in criminal justice, history, philosophy, and sociology. Together, the minor provides the student with exposure to the topics, rigors and analytical approaches needed by the successful law student, attorney and legal advocate. |
