This is a two to three-semester program for those who wish to continue their training in a health, trade or technical program area. It is designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge, academic credentials and attitudes to achieve success in many fields of study. This program is for students who are interested, highly motivated and prepared to work very hard to satisfy the prerequisites and acquire the skills to successfully enter College of the Rockies health, trades and technical programs.
Upon successful completion, each student should have, not only a BC Adult Graduation Diploma, but also a secured seat in a health (Nursing BSN, Practical Nursing, Health Care Assistant, Dental) or technical trade program (Carpentry, Heavy Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Professional Cook).

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. An English and Math assessment are required. Applicants who have already completed some Grade 10/11 courses may be eligible for advanced standing in the program. Students must have Canadian citizenship or landed immigrant requirements as outlined in the COTR Program Guide. |
