College of the Rockies offers excellent instruction in all of its programs, but it is best known for Health Care, Adventure Tourism, University Studies, Trades, online learning, and Business programs.
The Residence is a secure building with 16 living units, (each living unit has 6 private bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen and living room), for a total capacity of 96.

The College gymnasium is home to many Intramural sports and events for students and community users including indoor soccer, badminton, volleyball and basketball. College of the Rockies is proud to be the home of the men's and women's Avalanche volleyball teams. Members of the PACWEST, the Avalanche intercollegiate volleyball programs compete with other colleges and universities across the province, vying for both team and individual titles.
Our Student Life and Athletics team is dedicated to enhancing your entire experience by offering a wide variety of activities and events throughout the academic year. Whether it's a ski day, a co-ed basketball league or an Avalanche volleyball match, we have something for everyone. Throughout the semester, various fitness classes like Zumba and Yoga are offered with reduced rates for our students. Prefer to head outside? Cross-country skis and snowshoes are available for you to rent.

AASHE is an association of colleges and universities that are working to create a sustainable future. To further its mission of empowering higher education to lead the sustainability transformation, AASHE provides resources, professional development, and a network of support to enable institutions of higher education to model sustainability in all areas, from governance and operations to education and research.
Over the past 10 years, the International Education and Development Department has deployed over 140 students and graduates and over 60 employees for internship positions, practicum placements, study opportunities and consultancies in Africa, South America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The International Education and Development Department manages international contracts and partnership projects that have included two successful DFATD Canada funded Public Engagement Fund projects, several multi-year Development projects in Kenya, Ecuador, and Tanzania and numerous federally-funded internship agreements.
