The Master of Arts (MA) in English and Film Studies may be completed in an intensive eight-month option (course work only) or in a one-year option consisting of course work plus either a Major Research Paper or the Professional Skills Option. |

Applicants are required to have a Bachelor of Arts (honours) with a major in English, or related field, and a minimum B+ in your undergraduate program and a cumulative average of at least B+ in all English courses. Applications are reviewed by the graduate program committee, which considers all prior university grades, a statement of research interests, a writing sample and letters of reference. |
