This program is delivered using a range of work based teaching and learning techniques to ensure students gain a practical, strategic and operational understanding of the fashion design industry: including marketing skills and business communications.
This will provide the students with a solid foundation in order to either start their own business or work within the apparel industry. The acquired knowledge will enable them to be more varsatile within the several departments in the industry such as merchandising or logistics, design and/or pattern drafting departments, amongst others. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Must be at least 18 by September 1st in the year of entry. Must have a minimum of grade 10 education and must bring in a portfolio of sketches (at least 3). Must write a personal statement describing what motivates them and why they decided to enter our program.
