The Yvonne Yuen School of Design was pioneered by Yvonne in 1987 and is the only fashion design school of its kind in Saskatchewan. Yvonne and her faculty invite you to expand your artistic and design horizons by becoming involved in the ever-changing field of fashion. The school strives to provide each student with a strong sense of accomplishment and self-gratification.

Students learn numerous industry secrets and techniques through a variety of practical exciting projects and assignments. Emphasis is placed upon hands on activities, as students learn best by "doing". A strong focus on pattern making and clothing construction is a must in preparing a student for the fashion industry. The school provides the students with the knowledge of the state of the art PAD computer system, which is used in mass production pattern drafting, grading and auto marking, and 3D previewing, which allows students more flexibility in experimenting with different colour or fabric styles before the garment is created.
