Description:

The 8-month Secretarial Program is designed to prepared students to enter the job market with the skills and knowledge of business and computers necessary to qualify them for responsible positions as secretaries. The program stressed thorough training in essential professional skills and mastery of business procedures and communications. The program gives students the essential skills they need to perform effectively in the technology-rich offices of the 21st century. Students learn to operate the most widely used word-processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and accounting software packages on the market today.

    Application, resume, and transcript of Grade 12 marks (or GED) must be received prior to your interview. Individuals interested in applying under the Mature Student policy must be a minimum of 21 years of age, be out of school for a minimum of 1 year and must provide high school transcripts demonstrating that a minimum of Grade 10 was completed. An interview and aptitude test must be completed before any acceptance into the program can be considered.
