Our program focuses on the biophysical foundation of human health, with courses in anatomy, physiology, chemistry and biology, in addition to the social aspects of health. It includes advanced courses with laboratory components in clinical epidemiology, human immunology, medical microbiology, parasitology, pharmacology, cardiology and pathology.
Ample opportunities for experiential learning exist within the program at places such as the Brock-Niagara Centre for Health and Well-Being.
Students will complete course work and have research opportunities in the state-of-the-art Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex at the University.
