The M.Eng. program is designed to provide students an opportunity to strengthen and extend the knowledge they have gained at the undergraduate level. This is accomplished through completion of a number of graduate-level courses, and an engineering project. The M.Eng. program is intended to prepare candidates for advanced professional activity rather than for further graduate studies; however, M.Eng. candidates are not debarred from entering the Ph.D. program. M.Eng. candidates wishing to engage in a Ph.D. program at a later date, should complete a six-unit project designed to demonstrate their ability to carry out independent research. |
