The University of Victoria's MBA program engages participants in an intense, integrative, international and experiential learning process. Our cross-functional approach encourages you to find solutions using the skills and knowledge acquired in many subject areas while introducing you to the challenges of conducting business across borders and within diverse groups.
The full-time program takes approximately 17 months to complete; you begin in August with the four-week intensive Essentials of Business and Leadership (EBL) module with all of the new UVic MBA students. Over the next eight months, you take core courses in business and management in the Foundation Module. You practice what you are learning during the integrative management exercises (IMEs), which are multi-day case studies presented by real organizations. The evening MBA program spans between 29 and 33 months, depending on whether you choose to complete a full-time specialization. You begin the program with the Essentials of Business and Leadership (EBL) with all of the new UVic MBA students. Studies then progress to the Foundation Module which takes approximately two years, attending two evening classes per week, (typically Mondays and Thursdays). |
