The UVic Faculty of Business believes that combining classroom theories and concepts with real world problems is an integral part of the education process. Working with the M.B.A. Co-op and Career Coordinator, you will develop the skills needed to obtain co-op and career employment opportunities. This is accomplished through a comprehensive program of sessions and workshops designed for M.B.A.s including business career self assessment, career research skills, creating a career marketing plan and networking skills, as well as several others.
The Business and Economics Building (BEC) is the hub of the business activity. It contains a bistro style lounge, business electronic library, and the Business Co-op and Career Centre. These are exclusively for M.B.A. students.
The Business and Economics Building (BEC) contains a wireless computer lab and business boardrooms, exclusively for M.B.A. students. Adjacent to the BEC sits the David Strong Building (DSB), which holds business classes in rooms wired with state of the art technology.

The executive mentor program facilitates interaction between M.B.A. students and professionals on an informal basis. Its goal is to help you develop the skills and attitudes necessary to succeed in your career, as well as link the community to UVic graduate business education. The executive mentor program helps both students and executives reach higher levels of personal development.
