Interested in trees, forests, and the environment? Then read on to find out more about our forestry degree programme. As a forestry student, you will learn how to create and manage forests in sustainable and environmentally friendly ways.
You will also discover how the different components of a forest – the trees, soils, water, climate, flora and fauna – interact with each other and are affected by human requirements. New areas of interest, such as renewable energy resources, multifunctional forestry, carbon sequestration, continuous cover forestry, biodiversity and bio complexity, sustainable forest management, social forestry, climate change and the conservation of genetic resources will also be part of the programme. |
