Do you see yourself as part of a team helping to meet the increasing needs for assistive care based on the aging population of Nova Scotia as well as the prevalence of chronic illness?
This program will prepare you to work under the direction of physiotherapist or occupational therapists to provide rehabilitative services to persons with mental, physical, emotional, or developmental impairments. The ultimate goal is to improve the clients' quality of life and ability to perform activities of daily living. Learners participate in both theory and practicum placements where they will perform a variety of skills related to established treatment plans for clients. |

- Grade12 English
- Grade12 Biology
- Grade12 Chemistry or Grade12 Physics
High School Graduation Diploma or equivalent, including Grade 12 Academic Biology and English and one additional Grade 12 Academic Science (Chemistry or Physics).
