All applicants admitted to a program must have a reasonable probability of success in that program. Admission requirements for each program are established in a manner to achieve this (including equivalencies for formal educational qualifications). Normally, only students who meet the published requirements shall be admitted. However, the College reserves the right to admit any individual who, in the judgment of the College, has a reasonable probability of success in that program.

Language Requirement
Students are required to demonstrate their linguistic competence in English. This requirement is intended to ensure that you are able to participate in all aspects of your program.
Students can write:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) with a score of 550 (or 213 in computer format)
Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) with a score of 85 with no score less then 80 in any section.

Transcripts, letter of intent (cover letter), resume, letters of recommendations, and portfolio (when requested). NSCC now accepts and admits qualified applicants on a "first-received, first-assessed" basis. Students should apply as early as possible in order to ensure that there is available space in a chosen program.
