This is a three-year pre-university program for students with an aptitude in Music, Languages, and the study of Culture. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive both a Languages & Cultures and a Music Diploma in College Studies and are eligible to continue their university studies in either domain. Students have the choice of two languages, both at the advanced (400) level; or three languages, only one at the advanced (400) level. The Languages offered include: Mandarin, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish.
Graduates may study in areas such as performance, music therapy, music history, music theory, composition, music education as well as in linguistics, literature, languages, communications, film studies, political science, law, translation, tourism, and hotel management, to name a few. |

Admission to the College is on the basis of the Quebec Secondary School Diploma (Diplôme d’études secondaires); or the Québec Diploma of Vocational Education (Diplôme d’études professionnelles) with Secondary 5 fi rst & second languages as well as Secondary 4 Mathematics; or equivalent schooling completed outside the province.
Recommended: Music 502 or Cegep Music 551-001-50 or 551-002-50; or recognized music training in theory and practice from a school or private teacher.
