The aesthetics industry is constantly growing and introducing new technologies. This 41 week program consists of both theory and practical training and is designed for the aesthetics student who wants to become trained in the latest aesthetics procedures and become a qualified professional aesthetician. Students will learn basic aesthetic procedures including manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials, make-up, lash and brow tinting, as well as some advanced training in body treatments, facials, and hair removal, making the Cape Breton Business College’s aesthetics program unique.
All students will be supplied with a lab coat, tools / supplies, and a working kit as part of their practical training.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Application, resume, and transcript of Grade 12 marks (or GED) must be received prior to the interview. Individuals interested in applying under the Mature Student policy must be a minimum of 21 years of age, be out of school for a minimum of 1 year and must provide high school transcripts demonstrating that a minimum of Grade 10 was completed. An interview and aptitude test must be completed before any acceptance into the program can be considered. |
