This course will offer you a thorough and scientific understanding of sport, exercise and nutrition. You'll learn about the inter-relationships between sport, exercise and nutrition including food marketing and policy, as well as develop your scientific understanding of nutrition and physiology for sport performance, exercise and health.
The scientific content of the curriculum is aligned with the scientific knowledge requirements and competencies detailed in the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr) and during your studies you’ll be encouraged to critically evaluate existing theory and practice as well as carry out your own independent research. You’ll also have the option of a work placement in a related area so you can put your knowledge and skills into practice. |
