Description:

If you work alongside children or young people with behavioural, social and or/emotional difficulties, this two-year Foundation course will improve your understanding of how therapeutic work can help them. You will also learn how best to support their emotional growth through developing meaningful relationships and using reflective practice.

This course draws on the expertise of UWE Bristol and The Mulberry Bush Organisation, a charity with over 65 years' experience working with children with severe attachment disorders and complex trauma. Learning takes place during a series of monthly study days at the Mulberry Bush School, West Oxfordshire. As a full-time UWE Bristol student, you will also have access to our facilities and on-line resources.
