Description:

Accounting and finance are crucial to a successful business and as a result demand for skilled and knowledgeable graduates is always high. This degree at UWE Bristol offers a contemporary, applied and well-connected course of study. You will build understanding of the finance sector and subjects such as auditing, tax, business law and statistics whilst gaining maximum exemptions from professional examinations with the leading accounting bodies.You will be taught by experts in your field, engaging, passionate, research-active tutors with the drive to help you succeed and support you through your studies. UWE Bristol's Centre for Global Finance ensures that research informs teaching at every level providing a valuable international perspective and access to a wide range of external partners.

This degree offers maximum exemptions from professional examinations with bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). This is hugely beneficial to those wishing to become chartered as it fast tracks their qualification and subsequent career. It is reviewed annually and may be subject to change.
