This course allows you to study English literature in combination with theatre - this means that you explore the relationship between these two subjects, as well as learning how they complement and contrast with one another.
Each semester, you take two compulsory modules: one in English and one in Theatre. You choose a third module in either subject area, allowing you to balance the degree as you choose. Some optional modules (eg Performing Shakespeares, or Adaptation) are designed to overlap both subjects. The compulsory theatre modules are taught in our studio spaces and most are assessed through a combination of practical and written work. |
