This course gives you the opportunity to develop your skills in product design and professional practice and to work with industry clients to design products that make a difference. We believe that products start with people and we take a human-centred approach to design on the course. You will gain insight into user requirements, economic, environmental and ethical considerations, as well as materials, manufacturing, production and industry capabilities which will help inform the design of your products. You will design a range of products for both commercial and domestic use, including furniture, interior products, consumer goods and sustainable products. Live industry briefs will ensure you will be working in real world contexts to design products that make a positive contribution to the world around us. |
