The University's modern student accommodations provide over 4000 places for both UK and international students and are regarded as some of the best in the UK. Most of the accommodation is en-suite bedrooms in self-catering flats with shared kitchen facilities. Some rooms have shared bathroom facilities. You may share kitchen and bathroom facilities with 2 to 6 people. All are conveniently linked by excellent public transport. University Halls are occupied by students enjoying the freedom of living away from home.
At Leeds Beckett, we pride ourselves on the welcome we give to our students, and we will do our best to help you to feel at home, both on and off campus. Our international students starting in January receive support with practicalities such as registering with a doctor and opening a bank account.
Our Student's Union offers endless opportunities to get involved, make new friends, learn something new and broaden horizons, from joining a society, volunteering, or standing in student elections.

Sport is an important part of the student experience at Leeds Beckett. Whether you are a world champion, an aspiring Olympian, or just want a run around with your mates on a Wednesday afternoon, we have both the teams and the facilities to ensure you get the most from your time with us. There are plenty of opportunities to represent the University in the British Universities Championships (BUCS), with over 20 different sports, ranging from football, netball, rowing, fencing and tchoukball. If you prefer sport on a more recreational level, there are also numerous intramural and campus leagues which run throughout the year, and these are open to all students.
